Mediterranean Restaurant

Opening a new restaurant in a location where the restaurant previously existed, needing to re-establish its reputation.

Goal:

To build excitement, grow social media presence, and drive bookings for the grand reopening.

1. Introduction

Mezze Thornbury marks a return to where the Mezze story began, after years of success at their Downend location. Reopening in Thornbury was a big investment, and they needed to rebuild their presence and reconnect with the community. That’s why they turned to 6StarSocials—to create a tailored social media strategy that would generate excitement, drive bookings, and ensure a successful launch.

Mezze Thornbury is a Mediterranean restaurant located in the heart of Thornbury. Known for its welcoming atmosphere, community ties, and incredible mezze dishes, it was loved by many during its original run and needed a fresh marketing strategy to reintroduce itself after reopening in 2024

2. The Challenge

Mezze Thornbury faced the challenge of starting fresh on social media, launching brand-new Facebook and Instagram pages. On 2nd September, we took charge of this restaurant's social media accounts to generate traction in the lead-up to the grand opening on 15th October. With no existing followers, our priority was to build excitement, engage the local community, and ensure Mezze Thornbury was fully booked for the opening night.

Capture images and videos, and create dynamic, engaging content to showcase the brand.

Use reels and short-form video content to expand reach and visibility.
